Agarwood oil is oil that is made from solid resin contained in the woody tissue infected with Agarwood ascomycetous mold. These logs before fungal infections pale and light, and then turn dark and produce a distinctive aromatic resin that is invoked with aloes, or other name jinko, aloeswood, and oud.
Agarwood comes from Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Philippine. And because the supply is limited, agar wood oil exists at a higher price than other aromatic oil such eucalyptus oil, and essential oil.
