Cashew is a tree of flowering plants included in the Anacardiaceae. Cashew fruit native from northeastern Brazil and the plant is first taken to India by Portuguese sailors in the 16th century. From India, the plant spread to tropical and subtropical regions such as the Bahamas, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambic, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia

Cashew is also called by the name caju. The main products of cashew plants are producing cashews nuts which contains a lot of nutrition cashews for physical health benefits, other than that cashew fruit is also produce NCSLĀ  oil from seeds and skin are industrial raw materials plastic, paint, and a mixture of hard board material , other production is a useful artificial fruit for raw materials fresh drinks, wine, and jam, while the cashew nut husk is useful as an animal feed ingredient

In the cashew fruit contains a variety of nutrition cashews that are beneficial to the body and nutrition cashews include such as proteins, carbohydrates, dietary fiber, sodium, potassium, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, and zinc. Cashew fruit also contains riboflavin (vitamin B2), ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and calcium and the active compounds known to prevent cancer, and pointed to cure the tumor.

High levels of fat in the cashew nut are an important role in increasing energy levels and tastes. Fats in cashews nuts consist of 18 percent saturated fatty acids and 82 percent unsaturated fatty acids. Saturated fatty acid levels on cashew nuts are very low and dominated by palmitic and stearic.

The number of unsaturated fatty acids are efficacious good for health, is very dominant in the cashew nut. Levels of unsaturated fatty acids only (MUFA = monounsaturated fatty acids) much more than the unsaturated fatty acid double (PUFAs = polyunsaturated fatty acids). MUFA levels in 100 grams of raw cashew nuts, roasted and fried, respectively 25, 32, and 28 grams.

The most dominant MUFA in the cashew nut is the omega 9 fatty acids, the cleats. Several studies showed that the MUFA have important role in increasing HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) and lowers LDL (bad cholesterol), so it is good to suppress the occurrence of heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases

Cashew nuts are also a good source of protein for the body, andĀ  glutamic acid and aspartic acid as nutrition cashews that are an important contribution to the emergence of a sense of tasteful. That is among other causes why the nuts were tasty, though not given any seasoning.
