Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) is fruit that include in  rubiaceae family and genus morinda. Mengkudu has a lot of name such as Noni (Hawaiian), apatot (Philippines), pace (Java), dog dumpling (Barbados), nunaakai (India, Tamil, Nadu), great morinda, cheese fruit, and Indian mulberry, and because of different kind nutrition inside mengkudu, it give many benefits of  mengkudu for human health.

There are several nutrition in mengkudu that give benefits of mengkudu for  body health, and some of them are Vitamin A, B complex, C, carbohydrate, dietary fiber, calcium, iron, potassium, fatty acids, flavonoids, iridoids, and others.

Benefits of Mengkudu

Mengkudu is one of healthy foods that has many benefits to treat various types of diseases , in Polynesian culture mengkudu was used as traditionally medicine since long time ago  such for treating liver, bowel irregularities, diabetes, bowel irregularities, urinary tract infections, and menstruation cramps.

Other benefits of mengkudu to treat diabetes disease, high blood disease, acid nerves, and others

Take a Mengkudu that has been cooked, grated or blender, and taken to filter the water around a glass. Drink after mixed with a little sugar or honey. Do this routine every morning and afternoon until you lost the disease.

    here in Philippines, obesity is also becoming a problem. More and more children are getting obese due to a lifestyle that is not fully of physical activities. most kids just wants to watch TV, play computer games and surf the net.
